Decks your agent builds. One link that stays current.

sl-ide is an IDE for building slide decks and memos with Claude Code or Codex. Every git push publishes the deck to sl-ide.com.

Free and open source. Needs Node, git, pnpm and the GitHub CLI.

How it works

  1. Start

    One command clones the latest template, creates the deck’s own GitHub repo and connects it to your team here. You approve the sign-in in your browser; no secrets to copy.

    $ pnpm create sl-ide my-deck
  2. Describe

    Run /new-deck in Claude Code or Codex. It asks who the deck is for, learns your brand from a website or PDF, and drafts the story as action titles for you to approve.

    /new-deck
  3. Steer

    Watch pages change in the live preview. Press c, click any element and write a note; it copies as a prompt your agent acts on. /slide-lab puts takes on a page side by side.

    Make this one line, keep the number
  4. Check

    Pages are a fixed size, so nothing reflows on the way to the PDF. A layout audit flags clipped, spilling, overlapping and wordy pages on every commit.

  5. Publish

    Push. CI audits the pages, prints a vector PDF with fonts embedded and publishes the version here. Viewers page through it in the browser or download the PDF.

    $ git push

Slides or a memo

Same IDE, two page shapes. Both print to a PDF that matches the screen exactly.

Slides 16:9 at 1280 × 720. Each page is a React component placed in inch boxes.
Memo US Letter. Paragraphs, lists and tables flow from page to page.

Start a deck in one command.
